The best way to receive your email is in your regular email program such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Entourage, Apple Mail, etc. You don't want to have to log into webmail every 1/2 hour or so.
So, let's have a look at what your settings should be, so that your existing email program can fetch your email at your own domain. We're using Outlook 2007 here to demonstrate, but the settings are the same for most email programs.
Note: These settings only apply if your hosting account is with us.

- Select 'Tools' from your top tool bar and then 'Account Settings' (this could also be just 'Accounts').

- The Account Settings window will pop up. Choose 'New...'

- You will now be prompted to choose your email service. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, HTTP

- In this next window, please fill in your name, email account and password. Remember to add your domain name after your email alias. For this example, we will be manually configuring your account. Please select that option now.

- Select 'Internet E-Mail Service' to begin entering your server settings.

- Now we're ready to configure - Name and email address should already be filled in for you (as you've entered it). Server type is POP3 ,Incoming mail server should be mail.yourdomain.com' and the outgoing (SMTP) server should be the same, **UNLESS your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is Sympatico/Bell. Bell does not allow you to send through a server other than bellnet, so you will have to get the settings from Bell.** Please also click on 'More Settings'

| More Settings: By default, this window will open on the 'General' tab. Please select the next tab over, 'Outgoing Server'. We need to check 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication' and 'Use same settings as my incoming server'. Clicking on 'OK' will close this window. |

We're back at the previous window where we can now 'Test Account Settings'. A welcome email from Outlook will be sent from the server we just configured and received at the same. You're done :) 'Next' will bring you to the final screen where you will click 'Finish'.

** You may try the automatic detection method if your ISP does not allow sending through your own server. On operating systems such as Vista, this should work
